Today I wanted to talk about what I believe to be the REAL reason why people quit dropshipping. I get asked a lot of questions on a day to day basis, but one of the most prominent ones that stands out to me a lot is: "Arie I dont know what to do I've tried EVERYTHING, I am so close to quitting what should I do?". I have a lot of empathy for the people that feel this way, but right away when I get that question I realize why most people dropship in the first place and that is to MAKE MONEY.
This sounds fairly reasonable right? I mean, who doesnt want to make money. Unfortunately, however, if you are only in this to 'make money' then what is gonna happen when 3, 4, 6 months go by and you still havent made any? Well, you are gonna quit! And unfortunately this is the cycle that most people get into when they start looking into making money online. They bounce around from 'get rich quick scheme' to another every few months. This is NOT how you will ever succeed. In fact, this is probably THE single reason why most people dont succeed.
Instead what you should do is try to fall in love with eCommerce and building an online store. A great analogy that I used in the video is my love for skateboarding. When I first began, I fell in love with it right away. I never ONCE thought to myself "Okay, if I can't learn how to kickflip in the next 6 months, I am just gonna quit". The funny thing is that I did have friends that thought like that, and this made me realize from an early age that I was different, that I had above average determination with the things I loved. This determination translated perfectly to the ecommerce world. I didn't succeed for along time, but I never once thought to myself "If I can't make money 6 months from now, I will quit." I always focused on learning and improving, even getting excited when I learned new things. This is exactly what differentiated me from the competition, and this is what you need to understand in order to succeed.
