Whats up guys!
In todays video I discuss which Facebook ads strategy is the best for running a shopify store in 2019. I covered what I believe to be the best facebook ads strategies and give you an explanation as to why.
The first strategy that I talk about is starting your ads with PPE (page post engagement) and split testing different ad creatives, videos, and thumbnails, to not only get some initial social proof but also to determine which is the one with the highest engagement. This is actually a very smart way to test products, its more strategic than your average testing method, but the one big downside is that it requires a bigger budget since you will be spending more money up front with PPE ads.
The good thing, however, is that if you are using this strategy you can begin your website conversion ads with Lookalike audiences for video views, which sometimes can be more effective than straight up interest targeting.
Even though this strategy is more strategic and smarter in a way, since its not as cost efficient I still believe the best testing strategy is to begin with 10 adsets in a website conversion campaign at $5/day each targeting a single interest and narrowed down by engaged shoppers. If you've been following me on Instagram you'll know that I have been seeing some extremely successful product tests in the last few months with my brand, and my students have experienced the same. This leads me to think that my strategy continues to be the best in terms of effectiveness and cost efficiency.
Keeping all of these things in mind, if you have under $500 I still believe that the best way to begin is by using Instagram Influencers. Even though Instagram Influencers can be unreliable and kind of hit or miss at times, they are still the most cost efficient way to begin testing. The reason is because your posts have the chance to go viral and yield huge ROI's. You can also negotiate with influencers which is a great plus. Facebook ads require a lot more expertise and budget, but my strategy proves to be the simplest and easiest to understand, which is why I still recommend it and categorize it as the best facebook ads strategy for shopify 2019.
